Install Android Studio on Debian/Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Step 1: Install Android Studio
To add the PPA and install Android Studio in Debian/Ubuntu, use the following commands:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:paolorotolo/android-studio $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install android-studioStep 2: To Run Android Studio
Search Android Studio on Ubuntu home search area click to run.
Note: Before running Android Studio, you need to install Java 1.8.0
